We are back in the “wet” coast, showers over night and awoke to cloud & showers. They had stopped by 9 AM. We hooked up the Focus & drove to the gas pumps & filled up the RV. Out Fred Meyer @ 10:00 AM @ 152690 km. Arrived at the border at 10:50 with only one car in front of us so 2 minutes to clear. Arrived home, (parked across from school), at 11:40 @ 152802 km. Spent the rest of the day unpacking the RV, doing laundry & organizing stuff at home. Ken was sleeping. When he finally got up about 9 PM we had a short visit with him before he went to work on night shift.
Total distance in the RV was 6023 km – 3743 miles. The RV used 454 USG, which is 1718 litres or 378 CDN gallons. Gas mileage is 10 miles per CDN gallon, 8.2 miles to the US gallon, & 3.5 kilometres to the litre at an average US$ gas price of $3.73 per USG; which started out at $3.30 a gallon in January & went up to over $4.00 by the end of the trip.
